Using Nicaragua’s national flower, Sacuanjoche as a central motif, this work examines the cyclical nature of loss. Faded blooms represent the receding tide of grief, while persistent, looping lines trace the emotional rollercoaster of missing someone and dreaming they were still alive. Presented as a triptych, the three canvas allow these lines of feeling to remain tethered across the composition, illustrating a grief that, while it may shift and change, it never truly disappears.
